Dr. Rfah Alyami
I am a Saudi educational researcher and consultant with a doctorate in Philosophy of Education from the University of Reading (UK) — earned with four academic excellence awards and a place on the Dean’s Honours List. With over two decades of experience spanning research, policy, and professional development, I currently serve as a Full-Time Researcher at the National Institute for Educational Professional Development (NIEPD) in Riyadh, where I contribute to applied research that shapes teacher development and educational leadership across Saudi Arabia. My career has taken me from the classroom to the policy table — from teaching science and mathematics, to directing knowledge management at the Ministry of Education, to advising the Deputy Minister on national educational programs. I have led institutional capacity-building initiatives, designed training programmes for university faculty and educational practitioners, and served on school governing bodies in the United Kingdom. My research sits at the intersection of educational reform, change leadership, women’s empowerment in education, and AI-assisted learning. I have published in international peer-reviewed journals, presented at over fifteen conferences across the UK, Europe, the Gulf, and Ireland, and served as an official keynote speaker at the International Women Leadership Conference in Dubai — most recently in 2024. I am deeply committed to bridging research and practice in service of Saudi Vision 2030, and to elevating the role of women in educational leadership — locally, regionally, and globally. 📌 Open to research collaborations, keynote invitations, and policy advisory engagements. 🔗 Academia: moe.academia.edu/RfahAlyami
